Gentleman’s Option
Here is an awesome photo from Gentelman’s Option magazine that I did back in February. I never saw the magazine on the stands, not even old issues and, despite my agency’s reassurance that they get copies of all the magazines when they release, I still managed to pester my agency into calling the publisher. They said it was delayed.
I all but gave up hope of getting the photo until the agency sent me some low resolution scans of work I did that came out after I left Milan. When Fusion in New York saw the photo, they really wanted it for my book. So I started emailing Milan again and the saga continued. It turned out that it was only published as a small frame among other pictures to begin with.
Victoria at Fusion said she could track it down if I knew the photographer and fortunately I remembered the photographer, Avi Meroz, from the shoot. Lo and behold, approximately 9 months after the shutter released, just like a baby, here it is, in Victoria’s words, “Waa-Laaa!!!”:
Ok, well, you’re seeing it still in low res, but trust me, I’ve got the big one ;)
