Stamp Machine
Well, I know you were expecting me to break the silence with something more exciting, but I enjoyed this. On my trip to New York’s main post office, I discovered these postal machines. They have scales and accept credit and debit cards so you can pay for postage and then just drop the package or letter in the mail box.
The stamps are printed on adhesive label paper with QR codes. Neato!

I think this *might* be around in Singapore forever though. I have seen it. =)
then again, you have been to Singapore more recently than I have!

Hmmm... maybe I never mailed anything from Singapore. But they have driverless trains there, so I wouldn't put a stamp machine past their engineering prowess. In fact, by now they're probably teleporting packages anyway.
