I recommend you to update the movable type to 3.1.2. That's has a function of Typekey. I belive this is the only way you live...

Haha... Thanks for the tip! I'm planning an overhaul of the site in the New Year. Oooh... exciting! Maybe in February. I will possibly upgrade then.

I took a look at the new licensing agreements for the free version of Movable Type and it only allows one blog with one author. That's how I have things set up right now, but I would be restricted should I ever want to change things.

Right now I can set up as many blogs with as many authors as I want, as long as it's not for commercial use.

I need a whole overhaul of my site too. I just dont' have time to re-program things. And yes, I get a few spam comments too unfortuately.

How's the life out there on the west side?

I'm just doing part time IT stuff right now and I'm going to shorten my hours in January, so I should have some time to rework my site ... so long as I can stay disciplined.

You get spam?? But your site is custom built no? I thought I was getting spam because people have written utilities for spamming Movable Type sites.

Anyway, it was getting insane. Once I had over 200 spam in ONE DAY! I probably got an average of 10 per day until I turned comments off. The comments have been pleasantly legitimate since then =)

I have no idea how I ended up being targeted so violently.

And speaking of life on the West side, I'm uh... on the East side right now. I'm cleaning out my things from London, so I probably won't have time to visit Waterloo before I leave again. I should write a post about that.
